   Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo (SAN) has explained why his name is missing on the list of senior lawyers defending the victory of President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.  Remember that the 50-person list of attorneys the All Progressives Congress (APC) released on Tuesday in support of Tinubu. Wole Olanipekun, a former president of the Nigerian Bar Association, is in charge of the legal team. The legal legend will lead 49 additional attorneys in defending Tinubu's victory at the presidential election tribunal. In order to ensure that Tinubu defeated his bitter rivals Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, who have contested his victory. With 8, 794,726 votes, Tinubu, the APC's standard bearer, defeated Atiku and Obi to claim first place and second and third, respectively, in the presidential election that took place on February 25.     Mrs Aisha Buhari, the president's wife, has voiced faith in the abilities of Bola Tinubu, the president-elect of Nigeria, to leads nation where unity, peace,and growth are sustained.  In a letter of congratulations that she personally signed on Wednesday in Abuja, the first lady expressed hope that Tinubu would strive tirelessly to fulfill the founding fathers' vision for Nigeria.   Adeleke rejects tribunal verdict heads on to appeal court Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke called the governorate court's decision a "void case", vowing to appeal the ruling to the Court of Appeal.    Reacting to the Tribunal's verdict in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Rasheed Olawale, Governor Adeleke criticized the resolution of the overvote issue in favor of Oyetola, calling it "an unfair interpretation against the will of the majority of  voters".    While urging her supporters to remain calm, Governor Adeleke has pledged to appeal the Court of Appeal's decision, insisting he remains the rightful winner of the July 16 election.    “I ask our people to remain calm.  We will appeal the sentence and we are confident that justice will be served.  We assure our people that we will do everything in our power to maintain this widely acclaimed mandate,” Governor Adeleke said.
